  Bypass Oil Filtration

Puradyn

Contaminated oil enters through the metering jet at a slow measured flow rate. The oil then passes through the replaceable filter element, where total base number (TBN) additives are replenished and the unbleached, CGP® treated, long-strand cotton fibers, tightly compressed to resist channeling, remove contaminants down to less than one micron, while neutralizing acids and sulfur compounds. The filtered oil then enters the heated evaporation chamber, where fuel and water are evaporated and immediately vented.

Filtakleen

Filtakleen is designed to compliment the existing main oil filter, not replace it. By continuously taking only a small amount of the oil from the system, it performs a thorough cleaning of the oil and returns the polished oil to the oil reservoir until all the oil is polished. The longer it is in operation, the cleaner the oil will become.

AMSOIL

The AMSOIL By-Pass Oil Filter provides the best possible filtration protection against wear, oil degradation, rust and corrosion. Working in conjunction with the engine’s full-flow oil filter, the AMSOIL By-Pass Filter operates by filtering oil on a “partial-flow” basis. It draws approximately 10 percent of the oil pump’s capacity at any one time and traps the extremely small, wear-causing contaminants and water that full-flow filters can’t remove. The AMSOIL By-Pass Filter typically filters all the oil in the system several times an hour, so the engine continuously receives analytically clean oil.
