Extending oil service life does not need to be guesswork.
Whilst lubricants perform better these days, you know they
are still at risk from changing operating and environmental
conditions. That’s why your oil analysis service includes
an oil condition feedback. It helps you detect when your oil
may no longer be fit for service, possibly even pinpointing
a contaminant or machine, process fault as the cause. Moisture
or water can be a deadly contaminant. Our experience tells
us that in many cases it goes unnoticed. Online water detection
systems by EESIFLO use state of the art circuit design and
advanced algorithms relative to maintaining stability and
resolution relative to the measurement of the oil dielectric
. Each PCB is electronically factory calibrated within tolerances
and each sensor set is calibrated as a whole before shipment.

How frequently are you sampling for water contamination?
What if a problem arises between scheduled samples? Wouldn’t
it make sense to be monitoring more frequently? The EASZ-1
was designed with this problem in mind . EESIFLO’s sensors
are loop powered and report water contamination continuously
with a response time of 1 second and a resolution of 100ppm
. The final product is a conclusion of a development began
in the early 90’s
Water contamination in oil has always been a problem for
many people. The ability of an instrument to accurately measure
in lower range ppm values and higher percentages has been
sought after for some time. The problems that have faced previous
attempts of capacitance devices stemmed from electronic drift
and poor design. Extensive research and development has produced
a loop powered mini PCB card that works with cylindrical tubes
that act as capacitor plates to measure immediate changes
in water content or over time. Since oil has a low dielectric
and water the opposite, it is possible to detect any changes
whether ppm or percentage using this well known principle.
The technology is not limited to a particular type of oil
and can measure water contamination in any oil, whether mineral
or synthetic based- low or high viscosity. It also applies
to fuels , vegetable oils, hydraulic systems or hydrocarbon
based liquids.
The EASZ-1 Sensor goes beyond the normal handheld field
go/no-go units to offer permanent mounting. Providing both
a check on water ingress and change of dielectric in real-time.
Immediate action on the first indication of change before
any harm is done to the machine or even the oil can be taken
before it is too late. Knowing when to change the oil based
on condition, not on historical schedules is a major advantage
.
