Pump Booster Sets

Pump Booster Sets
Various pressure booster packages tailored to suit a wide range of requirements in the water supply. Each system is carefully designed to meet the applications individual needs and it selected on a basis of maximum reliability, durability, efficiency and economical operation. Pump model ranges are used to build standard and specialist packages of single or multistage pumps (type KCP or MS) to operate as worker/buster/stand by systems. More>>

External water pumps are offered in many different sizes for different applications. They can be pumps for high-pressure (used with protein skimmers and pumping water from remote locations) and low-pressure (ideal for closed loops and sump returns) applications. The best pumps are very efficient and use very low electricity, making them ideal for larger tanks. For water return in smaller tanks or powering protein skimmers there are many choices of brands and models. Most experts recommend turning the water of your tank over 5 to 10 times per hour in a fish-only system. In a reef tank, we recommend turning the water over least 10 times per hour (many hobbyist go up to 40 to 50 times/hour). For example, a 30 gallon reef aquarium should be at least 300 gallons/hour of turnover.
